Sarah, Look Behind You!

So Sarah Palin, who was almost Vice President, did an interview yesterday at some sort of turkey pardoning ceremony, and the whole time she was obliviously standing in front of turkeys getting slaughtered, and now everyone is making fun of her again. If you can pay attention to what she's saying the first go-around, you do not have ADD:

I LOVE the guy with the turkey-chipper, staring at the camera the whole time like "Um, do you mind? I'm trying to respectfully dispatch this animal's soul into the spirit-world, here." I have decided to name him "Mose" after Mose Schrute on The Office.

Girl Friday

The turkey-killer dude keeps looking back at here like "You know I'm here right? Just here killing this turkey. . . right behind you . . . on tv. Screw this, off with this birds head. On TV"

HA!

to be fair, the dude left them more than enough time to cut it off or for her reps to stop this thing. kudos to turkey-chipper dude for hanging in there and trying to do his job.

As a pescatarian (worst moral hedging ever), I'm in favor of more live animal slaughter on TV.

Also, can SOMEBODY replace her random-phrase stirfry with a turkey-gobble sound effect? Thanks.

Apparently, she was also there to pardon a Thanksgiving turkey. Whoopsies!

And that was written in the Videogum text. Amazing skimming, self.

This is classic dual framing comedy along the lines of Hot Shots and Airplane. Mundane script in foreground, hilarity in the background.

This cameraguy deserves an award.
