Kristin Chenoweth Just Lost Half Her Fans

I had The Today Show on in the background this morning, so I was treated to Kristin Chenoweth calling herself a "retard." This is notable because you're not supposed to use that word, and because Kristin Chenoweth, in particular, with her Jesus-freak reputation and wholesome Christmas album, should really really really not be saying it:

CAUGHT! I'm told I should be nice to Kristin Chenoweth because she was on Pushing Daisies, but anyone who puts out a Christmas album is forever fair game for PC watchdogs. I don't make the rules, but I'm pretty sure people who buy Christmas albums do.

Are you saying that half of Kristin Chenoweth's fans are retarded? That is offensive.

She's four feet tall with the voice of a prepubescent squirrel. How could you not?

I couldn't believe my ears this morning. She was supposed to be promoting her Christmas Album and she slipped and showed her true self....She called herself a "Retard." What an ugly word....and so inappropriate. Then she had to sing...She has a nice voice too. Too bad she probably lost a lot of CD sales with that stupid comment. Who says things like that???

If I were you I'd get the fuck over it.

BDF. I highly doubt she was meaning to offend those with mental disabilities. The term is practically never used as a way to describe them anymore and it's really a term to imply one's being stupid. Get off the high horse and stop being so easily offended.
