Did SNL Recycle A Sports Player Guest Star Sketch? And does anyone care? The first Michael Phelps sketch of the SNL premiere was allegedly the same as a Peyton Manning sketch from last season (not online), only with swimmers instead of football players. Update: the coach is a recurring character, and it's one of those recurring character sketches that are all the same. False alarm!

I noticed. But take it easy on them, guys. They only had all summer to come up with new ideas.

Um... it's called a running gag? I think with the same characters and same basis, this is a recurring sketch, considering that the character of the coach was exactly the same.

It's a recurring character apparently. They also are turning the I SAID WE kids into a recurring sketch and that's lame.

Hahahahaha, I said allegedly! They're not online to compare, but I fast forwarded through both.

Only good thing about that show was hearing that James Franco will be on the next one! He will bring the funny right? The funny? Right SNL...THE FUNNY?!

At least Will Forte got to be weird last night, he rarely gets to do that. He's one of the better male players on the show. Too bad about the return of the "I said weeauuuu" kids. Good lord...
