Um, The "Montauk Monster" Is Your Boyfriend

Fox News consulted animal expert Jeff Corwin this morning about this week's internet sensation, the photo of an unidentified dead animal now known as the "Montauk Monster." Corwin puts aside speculation that it was "a turtle without its shell" (my personal favorite theory) or some kind of cobbled-together viral marketing scheme and insists that it's just a plain old dead dog (or possibly raccoon):

Now we have to find a new thing to talk about and forward to our Moms.

Really, this is the sort of thing they'd put on an episode of Doctor Who, and at the end the thing would sacrifice itself and wash up on the shores of Montauk. For real. The Montauk Moster is Rose Tyler's Boyfriend.
