Kids Homoerotically Fuck With The Principal On TV The Darndest Things

This is a clip (via Gawker) from a TruTV (whatever that is) reality show called The Principle's Office, in which two friends are called into the principal's office to go over what is and what is not appropriate on the high school dance floor.

Bromance.

The lengths that teenagers will go to pretend that they're not fucking with you while still fucking with you very hard will never not be funny to me (as long as I don't actually have to be around these goons). "What if he drops his wallet and I'm just standing behind him stretching" is genius. "What if we're on the dance floor and he gets really sick all of a sudden with a potentially fatal disease that forces you to get on both knees, and like there's no time to rush him to the hospital, and it just so happens that the medicine he needs to save him is on my cock, excuse me, sir, male genitalia, and he is getting the medicine but he happens to be getting it in time with the music? BUT THAT'S NOT EVEN DANCING, THOUGH, THAT'S JUST MEDICAL ATTENTION."

And the non-sequiturial "have fun at dinner" as they walk out just kills me. "Have fun at dinner" is the "fuck you" of 2009. Write it down. These guys need to cut their hair and get a job. Hosting their own show on television.

I think the use of the word "fuck" in the post title makes this post seem like it's going to be a lot more inappropriate then it really is...

And after all that, the principal is still optimistic that these guys will set an example?

This is SO going on my ipod.

Not to be the dick pointing things out, but the principal is obviously playing straight, most likely because the producers of this show are pulling the strings. I will say I was pleasantly surprised that these two high school brohams were so exquisitely pithy. Still, it's not like they weren't being told by the producers to be total dicks, so that kind of lowers the bar for me.

The best moment BY FAR is the casual "Have fun at dinner" at the end, and I just have to point out that the word fun, devoid of any nuance whatsoever, takes the comment to levels of fuck-youness nary seen.

At Phils BBQ (in San Diego) there's a pulled pork sandwich that is delicious and it too is called a Broham... relevent, ummm, NO. Informative? Oh, I think so.

Like i guess, to a certain point, i understand that this is scripted. Or that they're following a sort of set path on camera.
But simoultaneously, it is real. Because this is exactly how shit goes down when you're screwing around with authority figures in high school.

I guess the difference is, after about a minute they catch on and you get detention.

Exactly. There's not a toolbag principal in the nation that would let two jerkoffs get as far as theoretical ass-grinding in his office. Only the audacious time-freezing Zack Morris gets away with that shit.

This show is not set in this nation I think. "Meter-stick?" This is what happens in Canada. In the States the principal is all "Chuck, you need to quit raping girls and also put out that joint" and then Chuck orders some hookers and takeout for the principal to get him off his back. He still says "Have fun at dinner" as he leaves, though.

I love how the principal just wearily goes "Don't kiss me" when green shirt goes for the hand shake/hand kiss maneuver. "We've been over this..."

If it's scripted, then bravo to the writer and the actors. So many great lines! Such perfectly staged polite contempt!

"Dooon't kiss me".

"Pound it. Peace"

Regarding whether or not it's scripted - I think it could just be a reality tv show, because people usually act different if a camera is on them. Those "pranksters" would likely play up, whereas the principal will want to be seen as calm and collected and that eh

I am poaching a lot of their dialogue though

That was pretty hot, but not nearly as homoerotic as I was hoping for. But once those kids move on to college and join a frat (and assuming they make it to college, they will join a frat), they'll get the hang of it.
