After brushing off Colbert’s attempts to mock his self-released album with Brian Eno, Everything That Happens Will Happen Today, Byrne took the conversation in a philosophical direction, responding to Colbert’s joke-questions with earnest musings about identity and conformity. It was awesome, basically.

I agree with all above comments and would like to propose the founding of Byrnism, a new religion based on the teachings of David Byrne as well as the desire to be sexually taken advantage of by him.
What a great song!
Oh wait, it’s by David Byrne, I’m redundant.
His concert at Radio City was outstanding. A brilliant guy all the way around.
Can anyone tell me the name of the drum box thing the drummer is sitting on and playing in the performance video?
Sigh…this man is so amazing. I do NOT get crushes, except now! David Byrne. He’s it – and for so many of us! I love “One Fine Day” …
The box drum thing is called a cajon (cuh – hone), which means ‘box’ in Spanish. Very cool instrument, fun to play and very versitile.
