Once in a while, a video of a kid singing a song to a webcam transcends its one-note brethren and just gets better and better for the entire 3:30. This is one of those times (the turns! The prop! The fake crying!) This is a daymaker. A mom-sender, if you will:
(The song is, apparently, “What Hurts The Most” by Cascada.) I don’t really watch American Idol, but watching this, I’m like “Fuck American Idol. This is true showmanship.” His name is Keenan and he has a lot of other videos and an agent. Subscribed! (Thanks for the tip, Brian!)
