In conjunction with New York Magazine‘s Galifianakis-hosted indie rock trivia night last night, which I have to mention was totally won by Stereogum’s team, NY Mag posted a video of Zach interviewing Michael Showalter. Showalter plays “Widge,” a musical artist so talented that he has never recorded or showed up to a show, despite selling out five tours. He’s just a guy who didn’t want to work at Cartoon Network anymore so he got a publicist, and the rest is indie rock history: here’s the video.
