Admittedly, the interview is kind of boring, but I think that’s more of a Tavis Smiley problem than a Louis C.K. problem. Which is exactly why there is no Videogum “Tavis Smiley Promise.”

On the other hand, I have tuned in to Tavis Smiley just to hear him say the word “particular.” It’s pretty great.

hahaha, i don’t think any three words will make me laugh harder today than “tavis smiley promise.” well played, sir gabriel.
His two part Prince interview was good, just to see Prince bathe in Tavis’s tongue bath and spout crazy spiritual all over the studio.
I’d rather listen to a Roman Polanski interview than a Louis CK interview. Louis CK hasn’t done anything half as interesting as Roman Polanski… and that includes the rape.
