It’s easy to imagine the boardroom meeting at Warner Brothers at which the idea for this new “viral” video for The Dark Knightcame about. Someone said “We need a viral video to promote our movie” and someone else said “let’s get Maggie Gyllenhaal to do a press conference as Rachel Dawes endorsing Harvey Dent for no apparent reason, and let’s make sure it’s as dull, awkward, and not even believable as a real press conference, as possible.” And someone above that person said “Done, but make sure it tells us nothing about the actual movie, and do it in just one take!”
