Between this and Where The Wild Things Are, I feel like a kid again. I have absolutely no concept of getting overhyped or diminished returns. I just know I want to see these movies.
i would like animated movies to stop casting stars as voices–i think it really diminishes the final product. i can’t hear Mr. Fox and not think of George Clooney. it worked really well in Up to have major roles played by relative unknowns (and Ed Asner). who goes to see a movie based on voice-talent? robin williams in Aladdin and then never again.
