Project Runway preview, you guys:
You know what’s weird? What’s weird is how this looks like a shitty Lifetime show when it’s obviously exactly the same as when it was a pretty good Bravo show. Heidi Klum pretending like she isn’t a half-literate human clothes hanger, check. Timm Gunn being great, check. Michael Kors pretending like anyone cares about Michael Kors, like, at all, check. A male contestant with a lesbian contestant’s haircut, check. They have the same set, the same structure, the same hosts, the same interview-segment background, the same Parsons New School of Design, the same trips to Mood, the same sewing room. And yet, watching this trailer, my eyes feel coated in a thick layer of pandering estrogen. It just makes me want to eat a bunch of red meat and punch some stuff, you know, because of how guys are. When is Ice Road Truckers on?! (Get it? Ice Road Truckers is Project Runway: For Men. Seriously. I think. I have never watched Ice Road Truckers because sometimes life really is too short.)

Yeah man, once they got picked up by Lifetime, Project Runway just lost a lot of the incendiary sounds that made the band sound so passionate and intense. Bravo understood what made the early stuff tick, ya know?

Will Lohan steal the contents of the Macy’s Accessory wall, and get a stern talking to from Tim and Heidi on shoplifting? Because that is the Very Special Episode that I have concocted based on the trailer. Lifetime editors, you can thank me later.
Hopefully the challenge for that episode is to create an outfit inspired by Golden Girls.

The narrator didn’t help. Also why was the trailer 9 hrs long and I felt guilty when the model said “I have to sleep with one eye open” I thought for a second that there was someone on the show/worked on the show named One Eye Open.
saying “Lifetime” a half dozen times will turn the tone of just about anything saccharine, i’m sure. if the man show (eh) came on lifetime, it would still have an OMGWIMMIN vibe about it.

I couldnt wait for the show to come back and even though its on Lifetime it is still the same great show that we all remember and its move to L.A is going to come off awesome! I live here I know that L.A has its great spots to shop and a lot of fashion sense…I also heard that it was filmed at FIDM in L.A…which is totally cool considering I was thinking of going there this fall. People give it a chance!!! It’s one show we ALL can’t stop watching!

I have been waiting for it to come back for such a long time too!. I heard Project Runways partially shooting in L.A is going to be awesome! So close to home! Has anyone heard that Project Runway has chosen FIDM as their West Coast location???Is that true? Because that is really cool! I wanted to apply to the college this fall!I havent forgotten about you Project Runway!!! Truth is no matter where the show you have to know it is still going to be good! We have to give it a chance.
