until penn dropped out this was going to be a legendary film. now it’s just going to suck in a pedestrian way.
If one were to read the article, one might note that while the directors think Paul Giamatti would be great, they already have an offer out to someone else. And that no talks have taken place between them and Paul. And that the article is really quite pointless.
I’m still confused. Is this going to be a bio-pic about how they led somewhat depressing and lonely lives? Or is it going to be a full on Three Stooges slapfest? If it’s the former, it might work. If it’s the latter, I see some careers grinding to a halt.
