The Tokyo zoo has just released footage of a newborn baby anteater frolicking with its mother (and other species of animals, WTF kind of crazy no-rules zoo is this?). I said an audible “aww!” when he fell over because his head is too big. (They actually don’t know the sex yet, but I’ve decided it’s a he.) Really really cute!:
I like when they climb up the zookeeper’s body. No reason. Just climbin’ up people’s bodies. It’s Friday at the zoo, body-climbin’ time. I want to go to that “all the animals hanging out together, whatevs” zoo!

I giggled like an 8 year old. And i guess not knowing what the outside world is like, i always thought Anteaters were huge. But they are so small and cuddly and i want one.

when it fell, i think i heard it say “what the fuck? gravity is the worst, man.”
and every time it was on its mom’s back i was thinking “hang on, don’t let go, any minute now your mom is going to try to walk under something and you’ll suffer the consequences.” and then it happened.
I came in here expecting foreskin jokes.

I could use one of those suckers for my personal use (twhs), as I’ve got HELLA ants in my living room.
The anteater is now bumped up to my third favorite animal, after the otter and the manatee. (I like animals that have old man faces. It’s a simple requirement but it works for me.)
I don’t get the tag. I mean, Sarah Palin likes balls. Sarah Palin likes balls a lot. But they’re not “cute.”

Actually it is not at the Tokyo Zoo ( I don’t think there is one) but is in the Aquarium (if you can believe that in the Sun city shopping center of Ikebukuro. It is on the top of a building. I was actually there a few weeks ago. Not only do the animals all walk around together, but you can walk in there with them too.
