Like pretty much everyone who saw it when it came out instead of waiting for months while it got overhyped to the point where it couldn’t possibly be experienced objectively and became just a vehicle for late-to-the-game contrarians to practice their hollow, silly craft, I loved Slumdog Millionaire. And generally speaking, the more you love something, the more you love parodies of that thing, and this is by far the best Slumdog Millionaire parody: Slumdog The Price Is Right.
(Made by College Humor, obvs.) You know who should get into the movie parody game? The people who do The Onion News Network. They would kill it.

Wow, this is super well done.
And nice Gabe ding.
Jai ho!…ly shit that was SO much better than the movie.
late-to-the-game contrarians to practice their hollow, silly craft
you totally nailed me there. I feel so… naked.
isn’t that pretty much gabe’s thing
i was certainly late to the game but that doesnt take away slumdog millionaire’s many flaws which were overlooked by most critics and fans for no apparent reason.
anyway, this video is hilarious.
I like Slumdifflin Mufflinaire better.
Ah shoot I got it wrong. Slumdunder Mifflinaire.
There is a The Onion movie. Not so good. Although the army recruiter did make me laugh, and the Georgia flag.
The Onion Movie blew hard. Now there is a movie worthy of WMOAT status. I had to turn it off in the middle it was so bad. WOOF.
The thing about The Onion Movie is that any of the sketches individually were fantastic, strung together with an incoherent plot made them unbearable.
“Neck Belt Recall”? Fantastic
“The Penis People”? Also fantastic.
“Cockpuncher”? Instant catchphrase.
I’m still waiting for the Asylum version (from the makers of Transmorphers, The Day The Earth Stopped, I Am ?mega, The Da Vinci Treasure, Sunday School Musical, et al) – Shantycat Billionaires… or some shit like that.
Oops, I saw Slumdog before the hype and was still underwhelmed..
Oooh, congratulations!
