A couple of summers ago, I was hit in the calf by some jackass’s golf ball from about 50 feet away. You would not believe the colors your leg can turn.
Same thing happened to me. I got the strangest looks at the grocery store.
When I was a kid, my grandpa, my uncle, and I once went to a mini golf course. One of the first holes had a lighthouse in the middle of the pathway, and when it was my turn to play the hole my ball kept bouncing off the lighthouse and back to the starting point. After numerous fruitless attempts to get past the lighthouse, I finally got fed up and pulled my putter all the way back into a full backswing, hitting my grandpa in the head and promptly ending our mini golf outing.
Another time when I was a kid, my parents signed me up for golf lessons, and at one point I hijacked the golf cart, drove it full speed and crashed it into a sand pit, promptly ending my golf lesson for the day.
Basically what I am saying is that I was a really great kid and also I would have definitely been in this compilation had there been the internet at the time.
Man in the Can, get out of that can!
This guy knows what you’re talking about
Can someone please change the music to Yackety Sax. It is destiny.
(No one else can upvote, can they?)
Nope.
I would usually acknowledge this reply with an upvote, but now I just don’t know what to do! REPLY ACKNOWLEDGED, I guess.
I might just reply to all comments with a hearty LBT APPROVES.
LBT APPROVES
REPLY ACKNOWLEDGED! (Thanks, Kelly!)
Until then, I will simply reply to everything with this
Thanks Kelly!
Whenever the functionality returns, I’m going to thumbs up everything here. Out of principle.
This just makes me love every single monster so much. Who says when the going gets tough, the tough don’t cull every thumbs-up image from their own personal directory of videogum-related .gifs and .jpgs?
Superglue, I think this about the monsters every week!
After commenting for years, this comment could have gotten me to my first monsters ball…. such is my life…. I guess it PAR FOR THE COURSE.
Golf cart accidents are inherently hilarious.
Can this be labeled Too Funny For Work? #TFFW
I was once involved in a golf fail. Being from the great state of Illinois, I was required to take gym all four years of high school so for seniors my school had some kind of “fun” classes that you could take instead of the standard “run around the track” gym. So I took “Golf Gym” which was a misnomer because we only played golf part of the semester.
But anyway, we all had “gym partners” for the semester and in golf, mine didn’t notice that there was a second ball sitting right next to the one he was trying to hit, so when he hit it the ball ricocheted and flew backwards directly at my face. I managed to block it but it would have gotten me right in the eye. This guy also somehow ended up hitting me in the face in the tennis and volleyball portions of the class. I requested a different partner when I took Bowling Gym the next semester.
I can’t upvote. This is how I feel:

I feel like the thumb up/down system has forced us to actually express our feelings more completely, like the way stories are sweeter and more vivid around a campfire. I mean, eventually you want to go home, but camping is fun!
*the current temporary LACK of the thumb up/down system, rather…
Whoever invented golf carts both hates and completely understands humanity.
Thank you, America, for always videotaping your golf for some reason. We should tape our entire lives and then make a supercut of our farts to lighten the mood at our funerals.
golf is worst
