The children at PS 22 have a cooler chorus teacher than I ever had:
There’s nothing to say about this other than “Aww, those lucky lucky kids!” (Via Buzzfeed.)

I have never been able to hit that one note. Yeah, that one. Kid nails it, and with passion.
Beyond awesome.
Look at those kids, all getting into the music. Fantastic.
Damn. Their version of Viva La Vida on youtube just took every ounce of cynicism out of me. For the day, at least.
Winnie Cooper in the checkered shirt!
Performing “Throw Your Arms Around Me” with Mr. Finn himself. Lucky little dudes.

Yeah, I know. Nobody ever strummed their guitar then this Jack Johnson character comes along and now everybody’s fucking strumming their guitar.
What’s wrong with the world these days.
Aww, those lucky lucky kids!
WAS NOT expecting that kid at :56. But, he is obviously a star.
We’re going to need a bigger Kidz Bop!
Their Viva La Vida is all the rage on Facebook right now..pretty damn cute.
Aww, they did “Everybody’s Changing” too. AND “Strawberry Fields Forever”.
I want to adopt them all.
the best is I’ll be your mirror. What coincidence, I stumbled upon them via Passion Pit yesterday.
My favorite part was the guitarist’s two-fingered “rawr” at the end!
why don’t schools in new york have names????
but yea – great video. cool teacher. look at his ponytail.
Listening to them singing Viva La Vida makes me (temporarily) not hate Coldplay, if only because they provided the opportunity for these kids so sing it… so much better, too.
These kids did the choral parts on Passion Pit’s new album.

But still, made a Monday feel good.
someone’s biological clock is ticking, or something bullshitty like that
kids are terrible
Pfffft. When I was that age we totally got to sing the “Believe it or Not,” the theme to the Greatest American Hero. Never you mind that I had no idea what the hell that meant at the time and that this occurred about 15 years after the run of the actual show.
Um, I don’t know.
Isn’t this kind of like making your baby wear a Clash onesie?
Considering the fact that most choruses don’t perform original songs created by their directors or singers, I’m gonna go with no. These kids are awesome and we should just let them own their awesomeness. Being incredulous all the time is exhausting.
And maybe a bit overemoting?
