You guys, if you listen verrrry closely to him saying “Aw, yeh feckin bastids,” you can definitely imagine you hear the ancestral roots of Jamaica.
Love you hotspur but that’s Scots dialect you wrote. The Jamaican and Irish accents are super similar though. I think it has to do with a lot of Irish being stationed in Jamaica when they were part of UK. Also you see Jamaicans and Irish hanging out together a lot here in NYC. I think they feel affinity for being islands conquered by the English.
