There’s a trailer for Case 39, starring Rene Zellweger, Bradley Cooper, and Ian McShane. I’m scared! For real!:
I’m going to have to say my favorite part is when Bradley Cooper vomits bees. (Wasps? Horseflies?)

So was that the film? Because I can’t imagine there being much more to it that what I saw in that trailer. Also, is Callum Keith Rennie destined to repeat that scene from Battlestar Galactica where Starbuck interrogated him for the rest of his career?

Rene Zellweger’s scared run is so terrible. It’s like she’s running for pretend. Take a note from Laura Dern in Jurassic Park, RZ.

Hopefully this all took place in the first 10 minutes and Renee died at the end. Then the rest of the movie went on its merry way with puppies and lollipops and flowers singing in unison.
Agent: ” I have this script I think you should do, its a horror flick called ‘Case 39′
Zellweger: “oooh horror movies…yeah, I don’t know…”
Agent: “look, all I’m sayin’ is the actresses I represent all have a definitive horror movie in their repertoire to show they have RANGE. Hilary Swank did it with ‘the Reaping’, Jennifer Connolly in ‘Dark Water’ and Kate Hudson in ‘the Skeleton Key’. All classics that led to box office smashes like ‘Fools Gold’ and ‘P.S. I Love You’. This movie is a no brainer, a guaranteed slam dunk in ticket sales!”
Zellweger: “Well, when you put it that way, I do want to work with Matt McConaughey sometime. Let’s do it!!”

The scariest thing about that trailer was Renee Zellwegger’s voice.
I wish this starred Victoria Jackson instead of Renee Zellweger.
I love how at the beginning of the effing trailer the let you know EXACTLY why this movie is called Case 39.

Another alternate tagline: “What if everything you knew about child abuse…. was wrong”

Jokes aside, i would see this movie.
Is it just me or does every horror trailer follow the same exact formula. Peaceful world for a good minute to introduce characters. Then something wierd but shown for a good duration (in this case the wasp thing). Then it goes into a rapid flash of disturbing images which culminates into people hiding under a bed and breathing hard, or leaning up against a wall and breathing hard, or in their car and breathing hard. Then right before it ends they throw one more flashing image at you.

This little girl always has parents who mistreat her in movies. And it’s the second time her parents want to kill her for being the devil.
demonized “other” represented by female child and animals = SKIP IT.
moral of the story: do not adopt or become a foster parent because probably the kid is lying and is actually a little portal to hell. actually, to be safe don’t have any kids either, because a lot of the time your kid is also the devil. or a demon. or can see dead people. kids are the problem, is all i’m saying.
I hate horror movies, but I love Leoben. what to do, what to do…
