You say you asked “a high school freshman with one and a half semesters of introductory French to translate it.” That should result in a partial translation or some incorrectly translated expressions (which you’d need to know French to recognize). So why are the subtitles in crappy English, as though it were done by someone who speaks French, but who has poor English skills? Sounds to me like you were going for some kind of a funny video, but didn’t think it through. Reply
