I’m living proof that you don’t have to know a THING about hockey, like a single thing, to find this video in which a hockey player (I think?) shows examples of other hockey players starring in terrible commercials, and makes fun of them, funny. I don’t know who these people are, but the guy at :30 is like so Kenny Powers!:
The official description is: “Atlanta Thrashers Make Fun Of Ovechkin and other NHL players that do bad commercials.” So that’s who those people are (I think?)

…as opposed to all those hockey players in great commercials?
O-VEE!!
I assume that was Kovalchuk calling him out at the end. He’s just upset that O-V signed that huge deal last year, and Kovalchuk will be hitting the free agent market when the economy is in the toilet.
Actually the Blackhawks did some pretty good fake commercials with Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, and Brian Campbell.

Malkin doesn’t even do anything here.
I can’t believe they would show part of the greatest terrible hockey ad ever (although that Ovechkin nonsense is right up there. Suvs? Realllllly?) and it’s not the part where Max Talbot does a little freestyle.
