A friend sent me a video last night that is eight minutes of a ridiculous couple talking about being vegan together. Look, make whatever choices you want in this life, even if some of them are so extreme as to be unhealthy and against the natural design of the human body, not to mention the suggestion of a complete disinterest in pleasure (I have a few problems with veganism! No time! No time!). Life is hard enough as it is, you do you, man. But boy oh boy, that video is insane. I think it takes 45 minutes to explain how they were vegetarians first but then there was a podcast and I guess they listened to the podcast for awhile? Anyway, sure, whatever. But the reason he found this video is because that same couple made a music video about their own break up. Not only that, but it was the 1,435th song they had recorded together. Holy moly. That is WAY too many songs. And don’t make a song about your break up, please. What did we JUST talk about?! It is clearly time to get out of here. Let’s all get out of here! Go on! Get!

I don’t understand why everybody on the internet hates the break-up song. I thought it was kind of cute, and also a bit moving. Seems fitting they should break the news this way, if that’s what they’ve been doing for years.
I agree with you in theory. I think it just hits everyone’s “obnoxious hipster alert” sensors. The vegan video doesn’t help either.
