And it’s called “Knope Knows.” We all hope the show will be great, it’s just funny that someone has poured time and energy into a fan site for something they have yet to see.

I find it adorably naïve that your first thought isn’t “plant.”

    http://www.pawneeindiana.com

The elaborate fake website for the fake city of Pawnee, IN.

Remember the save-our-show campaign Whedon fans had for Dollhouse before it aired and everyone realized it kind of sucked and nobody felt like saving it anymore

  4. I imagine it’ll be used in the same way OfficeTally is by the Office. Expect a lot of “exclusives” free of anything remotely challenging from the interviewer and some cheesy marketing.

Maybe that sounds a little bitter… but try posting a critical comment on that blog sometime and see if it ever makes it through the filter.

  5. judasconstant — Don’t fret. Knope Knows will always be a forum for Parks and Recreation fans to speak their minds about the show. So long as it isn’t spam, I’ll be sure to publish all comments.

  6. Nick — I can assure you a “plant” isn’t running Knope Knows. I’ve grown up a fan of The Office and merely decided to start a fansite for its sister comedy at the tail end of March.
