Remember that lady who drove her car up on the sidewalk every morning to avoid waiting 2 seconds for a school bus to drop off a disabled child? Well a judge has ordered her to wear a sign that says she’s an idiot. The system might actually work! (Also I hope she has to wear that embarrassing shirt somewhere really humiliating, like prison.)

What an annoying mockery of the judicial system. I didn’t realize Improv Everywhere managed to get someone elected as a judge!
I disagree. This is basically a form of community service. I love it.
It’s not at all uncommon, Facetaco. Judges are always making people stand around with “I stole from this store,” signs ’round these parts.
Facetaco, I fear that you are underestimating one of the most powerful tools in society: Shame. Sweet, overwhelming shame. I reckon I’ll have to feel twice as much shame now, for the both of us.
Shaming signs are only appropriate when used by pet owners. Can you hold a judge in contempt of court?
Yes, but the only punishment available is to make the judge wear a sign saying “I’m an idiot”. It’s a pretty messed up system.
