Oh man, that sounds so good that I fear it has to lead to disappointment. Let’s temper our expectations so anything is a pleasant surprise!
Yes! I got so excited, but then realized that even amazing comedians often don’t get good material to work with for awards shows. I’m hoping and praying that they both have some actual input in the material and get good writers! *fingers crossed* (I am still very excited, who am I kidding?)
Also, it’s an awards show. That’s like being excited about seeing Jon Hamm in a porta-potty. It’s Jon Hamm, but it’s still a porta-potty.

Yes, let’s! IDK about the Golden Globes but I think they now sometimes let comedians hire their own staff? I think at least Ricky Gervais did.
The Vilanch patter at the Oscars last year was literally the worst. Ugh.
