I Love You, Man is going to be great. That’s a given. We need a comedy right now — there hasn’t been a real one since Role Models! But oops, they let a bunch of drunk frat boys design their posters with “catchphrases” that are definitely not going to catch on. They’re going overboard to court the young male demographic, and it kind of hurts to see my boyfriend’s faces on these dumb posters.

WINCE. Those are not even clever (though I’m sure they’re in the movie.) It’s like OKAY, WE GET IT, the dudes in this movie are straight. At this point it’s almost like the marketing team is protesting too much. Psst: I Love You Man is the long-awaited sequel to Brokeback Mountain. Pass it on.

These might suck, but they are working some hilarious magic in LA at the intersection of Beverly and San Vicente. That billboard you posted about a week or so ago with the shirtless guy in a Speedo ostensibly for Paul Klaven realty keeps changing every time I drive by to something new and often funny, so all hope is not lost for the marketing team of I LOVE YOU MAN.
I expect a lot more from the dude von dudensteins that brought us “Along Came Polly” and “Dr Doolittle 2″. This movie is going to be awesome!!!!
( this movie will not be awesome)
Jesus. Were these designed by Diablo Cody?
Not going to catch on?!
I’ve been repping Dude Von Dudenstein since you were in short pants. (I have not been repping Dude Von Dudenstein since you were in short pants.)
Paul Rudd probably learned that catchphrases drive a movie from his Clueless days. AS-motherfuckin-IF!
I’m pretty sure the joke is that they’re horrible bro terms for guys who have never had real bros (also called: the synopsis of this movie), you guys.
Horseshit! I totally started Totes Magotes, you guys.
When are the, ” Sweet, Sweet, Hangin’ ” condoms going to be given out?
I’m not yet sick of the parenthetical humor! (I am sick of parenthetical humor)
You’re so cool and funny when you recycle Gabe’s tired, tired jokes!
Actually, it’s totally ):
They’re ironic! Our culture laughs at frat boys! These two are emulating them, but they’re doing it wrong!
See? It is funny.
So am i going to get to see Paul Rudd’s dick already or what?
This movie is very funny. The catchphrases are used (to hilarious effect) by Paul Rudd, though I suppose they don’t really come across very well to someone who hasn’t seen the film.
