I had to watch this insider trading video for a job called Think Twice: The Sequel (because they didn’t want to call it Think Twice II, but then the next video was actually called Think Twice II hahaha). It was just a training video designed to educate employees on insider trading and warn them not to do it, but it had this sort of sprawling plot with a huge cast of characters, like bad guys, SEC investigators, etc. etc. like it was some super low-rent knock-off of The Wire. I felt bad for all the actors, who were uniformly terrible – like good grief, what is Girl Playing Pool Sexily with Computer Tech Who Later Gets Fired for Trying to Impress Her doing these days? But maybe one or two of them will become a beloved side character in a major television drama later in their careers? Keep the dream alive.
