But Donald Glover already played the secretly gay student that Tracy outs in a speech at his old high school! How are they going to explain that? Huh, Tina Fey? Call me and we’ll talk.
Well, first they’ll need to address all the different characters Rachel Dratch played in the early seasons. I’m sure whatever justification they give for that will be the same for Donald.
Actually, what happened to Tracy’s original wife?
Where’d the replacement TGS cast member go who was recruited off the street, acting like a robot?
“Finally,” everyone is saying, “In this thread, hotspur might tell us his opinion of Sin City.” Okay, glad you asked. I bought the DVD knowing nothing about it and then had to stop watching about a third of the way in. I couldn’t take it. Why, because it was so great? Or awful? I will tell you. Here’s why: because that is what my nightmares look like. They look exactly like that. A serial killer with no eyes? Check. A roomful of heads on hooks? Yes. The car flying though the air without any regard for physics? Yessirree, all that and more. It was so unnerving I could literally not go on, it made me feel sick and nervous.
Later, weeks later, I cued it up and finished it, without going to pieces. But I can’t even begin to judge it as a movie because it will never be that. It is a nightmare that I had that somehow ended up on disk.
See you in my dreams! If there’s a sequel! Yikes!
