After suggesting that he would participate in a WWE match this spring, Mickey Rourke has now backed out. Supposedly this move was prompted by a publicist worried about actual wrestling’s affect on Rourke’s Oscar chances. Probably. But would you ask the sun to stop thinking like a lifelong drug addict? Would you ask the rain not to make rash decisions based on a desperate need for approval?
