I have to work tomorrow. I wasn’t that sad about it until I read this post. :’(
But then I watched the bridge blow up, and that helped a little.
I found out on wednesday that my job is going away, and I have a week to decide if I want to take a worse job here, or a worse job in Kansas with a paid move. But watching this made everything better, somehow.
Oh, man. That sucks. And it seems like you just moved to GR about 5 minutes ago, too!

Pretty sure I’m not going to Kansas, so at least I’ll still have GR. I looked into it, and the defining features of Kansas City seem to be tornados and bad school districts. I’ll pass.
Things like school districts, compensation, etc., are important. But the real question is whether the new position will allow sufficient tools and time to maintain your volume of Videogum commenting. You’ve set a pretty high bar.
Undetermined. Although I AM applying for any supervisor position I can to get out of this position, and if I get any of those, that will almost certainly be the end of my Videogumming days.

You guys, I was going to try to come up with a suitably unfunny reference to the Bridge card game, but then I realized I know nothing about that game, so I went to the Wikipedia article to try to find some reference to make.
I do not recommend this. That article is crazy long, and full of things that make my head spin. Forget that noise, somebody tell me when they blow up an Uno Pizzeria, I’ll be ready with plenty of jokes then.
