With all the attention that Shane Mercado received after his “Single Ladies” dance took over the internet, I can only imagine how it must have made 111288CBaby feel. He killed it on that song, too. Twice. Sure, he might have lacked some of Shane’s ingenuity in the 1/8th-length shirt department, but it’s not like he’s coming to the party over-dressed, either.
What this video actually proves for me is that all of MTV’s transgender hype over Katelynn on this season of the Real World is just overheated nothing. Her story was open and shut from the minute she entered the house: she’s a confident, post-op transgender; they are people too; the end. That’s not nearly half as complicated or fascinating as what’s going on with 111288CBaby. Put HIM in a house in Red Hook and see what really happens.

after coming back from a hip hop class, I can only hope one day I’ll be able to dance while rocking those boots. you, men, amaze me.
I think that we can all agree, both as adults & as the lovers of the art of dance. That, not only does it take great skill to incorporate the crane kick into a dance without it coming off as a lack luster homage to Karate Kid, it also takes a certain something (something so, very special) to pull it off in those heels!
Take notes, Jaden. Please try to bring this much dignity to the remake. It’s the least you could do.
I dunno man… Shane Mercado was awesome, he had this clenched-jaw-concentration thing going on that was totally amusing. This is something different and I somehow feel sad. Not sad, just… oh man….
There are about 5 of these in every sub par gay club. Gender queers have it the worst.
