I don’t know who built this house of cards or why, but I do know that nothing is permanent, change is inevitable, and stacked cards are delicate. And I know that that is OK. (Also I know that this is the best 18-second video ever and I wish it were on a ten-hour loop so I could watch it for ten hours.) (I want to walk backwards into a giant house of cards very badly.) (Maybe even more badly than how much I want to walk into a room full of balloons that turns out to be a surprise party.) (Which, trust me, is VERY BADLY.) (Like in Patch Adams, remember?) 1. I cannot imagine a less useful invention than the house of cards.

  2. That video was like a metaphor for…something.

  3. Yup, much better than the other one:

  4. Once for an “art project” (meaning because i wanted to) i filled a WHOLE room up to the hip in balloons and hung pictures on the walls so people had to wade through the balloons to get to the art (or was the art walking through the balloons? or does art even exist? #collegeisbullshit)…it was super fun. and people felt terrible when the balloons popped (because mortality.)

  5. that house of cards is this man’s videogum

  6. I built that house of cards. This was my older brother. I had just left to get another deck from my bedroom.

  7. I figure the person shouting off camera was saying, “Ohhhwwww, mannn, you knocked my cards overrrrr” and the guy was like, “Hahahaha, NERD!” *cartwheel*

  8. i like to think that a dedicated team of volunteers worked on this house of cards for weeks, left it over night to be filmed in the morning by the Guinness Book of Records…And then, under cover of midnight, the Joker….And hey, he does ‘walk away from the explosion’.

  9. Artist walks around the corner from his bathroom break, has a heart attack. The End.

  10. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

  11. to inspire myself imma download this put it in iMovie and then play it in reverse.
