I figured it should be nerdy, and I’m a Star Wars nerd so that was the natural direction. Plus, I’m a lawyer, and I thought the juxtaposition of the Esq against R2D2 was kinda funny.
I googled Rolf Dewolfe and a picture of the bird from showbiz pizza came up, the caption said “Chris Thrash” but I misread it as Chris Trash.
There was a video podcast I used to watch going on 5 years ago, The Show with Ze Frank. It was a bizzarre hodgepodge of current events, skits, songs, and musings of Ze Frank, at the time an under/unemployed graphic designer. It ran every weekday for one year exactly. He had a segment he would often do called “Dirty Space News,” where he would talk about so NASA news, pausing and giggling every time some double entendre could be found. I always liked the cadence it had and how it rolled of the tongue, so I stole it for my own nefarious purposes. I use it everywhere, chances are if you see DirtySpaceNews somewhere on the interent, it’s me.
