It’s always hard to tell where the heart of the public stands on the topic of Tommy Wiseau, and I’ll keep my opinions to myself since this is such AN historic day, but one thing that can certainly be said for his new web series is that the logo and set look GREAT! (Thanks for the tip, Werttrew.)

The internet often forgets things like this can’t be recreated. “The Room” and any number of viral videos can’t be recreated. So this kind of stuff completely falls flat.

in a similar vein, i stopped thinking this guy was funny like 30 seconds after ‘the Room’ became a thing. the second he was let in on the joke and started embracing it it stopped being funny.
sort of the same thing happened with charlie sheen. the fun was getting an inside look at just how weird and crazy a person can be when they have no filter.
now all you see is them TRYING and its just…ugh.

Well, I’m glad to see that Tommy Wiseau is truly the sensitive and kind-hearted person that he portrayed in the Room, after hearing comments like:
“Come on, little lesbian,”
“Damn it, you Mexican, or whatever you are,”
and “Yeah, she have big boob, now she thinking smart, huh.”
I saw TW direct a ‘masters class’ this weekend. Two of the guys on the stage hugged or something and he said ‘come on guys, don’t do the gay thing’

watch the room, if you can bear it, terrible movie, although i suppose when you finance your movie selling leather jackets you cant expect much

This is awful. I don’t know what I was expecting.
I’ve seen ‘The Room’ twice now with a live audience, spoons and all, and it’s a fun, loud time. Wiseau made an appearance at my first venture and he’s an inexplicable idiot, though questioning how much of that is an act kind of exhausts me. In any case, stuff like this and ‘The House That Dripped Blood on Alex’ (or whatever it was called, I think that’s the correct title) exhausts me even more. ‘Look, I am being goofy over the second time, yes?’ No. Yawn! Sleeping forever now, Tommy, bye-bye. #ZZZ
