Happy Friday, everyone. We finally did it! We made it through the week! As you may have noticed, Gabe was not here today. I know, I missed him too, believe me. But sometimes we just have to make due with what we’ve got, and today that was Gabe. I mean, Kelly. We had Kelly today. I was honestly a little nervous about the Republican debate being on last night because I thought, you know, what if something terrible happens and Gabe isn’t here to talk about it??? And then something terrible DID HAPPEN! But we made it through somehow, together. Phew, thank goodness. Also, it’s fall now. So, HAPPY FALL! SEE YA NICE TRIP! HAVE A NEXT FALL!

Oh man, KCC’s book is the best, wait until we get to it, it will be awesome.
i once ordered infinite jest from the library. when i got there, i was told i could only have it for two weeks. i took one look at the book and left it there.
in other words, that book is really big and takes quite a lot of effort, but people keep saying nice things so maybe i’ll try again soon.
The official reading time is two months,but the deadline is December 4th, so if you get it now you’ll have over two months to read it. Plus reading ti with the monsters will be funzo.
As a 21st birthday gift my friends gave me a copy of Cahoon’s seminal text. I guess you’re saying, so what? Great gift, for sure, but where’s the twist?
I’m a European man. My friends knew to get me the book so I could see all the secrets of the American women. This is a book great not only for finding the european man, but also for knowing the inside tricks of American women. I’m constantly rebinding it in Illustrated Sports Covers and surreptitiously reading it on park benches.

But judging from the quality of “Exit Ghost”- maybe Mr Roth refuses to take longer than two weeks to write his novels! Amirite?

so I am confused by the schedule, does the time frame next to the title mean the time the book is being read or the time the book is being discussed? because if it is the latter then you are talking about serious spoiler action and that can ruin things, however if you are a slow reader there is no way you can read the book in time. or how does it work, do you read the book together as friends? sounds weird, I dont get it
plus it says on that list Gabe whats his name from the videogum has an “e book.” well I dont want to go out and buy a kindle so are there alternative ways to read an e book? can you print out a pdf of it? I have sensitive eyes and would rather see the light rays bounce off a printed page rather than have light rays shoot directly in to my eyes from a computer monitor or e book reader device

Gabe has a PDF version of it in the same post. You could print it out if you want. Also, the kindle has no light , it’s electronic ink which has no glare. I recommend it specially if you want to read Meeting European Men and want to pretend it’s another book for some reason.
The time frame is when the books will be read. Werttrew will lead the the Infinite Jest discussion and we’ll have the discussions at the end of the reading period.
okay never mind on the first question I see now that you have to read infinite jest by the start date so I figured out that part. now I just need to know how to circumvent the ebook problem with the last title and we should be good to go your crystal ball aint so crystal clear

I have gone back to school b/c my bachelor’s degree isn’t really helping me, yada, yada, yada…Anyway, I forgot how much work school is and it’s really cutting into my Videogum time.
