Eureka Springs, Arkansas used to be a “Christian town,” whatever that is, until the specter of tolerance slowly moved in, and before the residents knew what was happening, it was totally okay to be gay there! So the self-described “Christian hate-bigots” made a documentary called They’re Coming To Your Town to make sure other towns don’t meet with the same harmonious and egalitarian fate. This is so ridiculous:

So, I remember reading in OutSmart, the Houston gay publication, that Eureka Springs was one of the best vacation spots for gay people in the south. I’m actually really looking forward to going with my partner, and my best friend and his partner.
So, yes, we’re coming to your town. And bringing our currency, and money. And if hate is more important to you then this recession we’re having, than go ahead and get this dvd, if not, start selling rainbow flags for 10 bucks a pop!
Small writing nit: the dude in the video says “they branded us . . . Christian hate-bigots.” That’s not self-described, that’s relating someone else’s description.
