Outing someone against their will is an incredibly mean spirited thing to do, and it’s a way of intentionally causing someone mental distress. I actually think it would be great if every gay person in his position would come out of the closet, but I don’t think you get to make the call for them. Reply

In a perfect world, yes, it would be fine to let people come out whenever they want. However, he’s making hundreds of millions of dollars. He’s a public figure. He has a responsibility to come out. As prejudice continues, gays and lesbians fight for equal rights and protection under the law, people die – he sits on his fat wad of cash, it’s just not right. ESPECIALLY when he uses gay characters and themes to make money off of. We can make him money, but we can’t be associated with him? Reply
