As much as I love David Simon and everything he touches (never stop touching Treme Mr. Simon and put Lames Ransone in more stuff. Make a whole show about James Ransone) I was always thinking about the fact that some of the REAL people actors who experienced these systemic social nightmares might not be ready to be around all this stuff just yet. Look I’m not blaming David Simon (I love that guy!), but addiction whether to substances or a lifestyle that has possibly given you your only form of “meaningful” support and self worth is a long and complecated road. Basically, GOOD LUCK SNOOP!
