Guys, two movies come out this weekend, both of which look pretty good but in very different ways: the adventure of Cowboys and Aliens and the romance of Crazy, Stupid, Love. We can only see one as a family, so which one? YOU BE THE BLOG! (Selected movie to be announced later today.)

Aliens! I vote for Aliens! Cowboys too, I guess, but mostly the aliens!
Come for the Cowboys. Stay for the Aliens.
I want to see some aliens. The cowboys will be that annoying friend that aliens allways brings even though I told aliens I didn’t like him.
Crazy, Stupid, Love (because I’ll actually be back in the States, and I’ll be able to see it! My vote counts!)

Well, no guilt trip or anything, but I will be flying 4000 miles to see the movie, so…
Cowboys and Aliens, because of all the Cowboys and Aliens
There’s probably a love story element in Cowboys and Aliens. It may also be crazy and/or stupid. Conversely, there are probably no cowboys OR aliens in Crazy, Stupid, Love (though there appears to be an extra comma). So I’d kill two birds with one stone and see Cowboys and Aliens. Or kill two birds with whatever that thing is on Daniel Craig’s wrist.
Crazy, Stupid, Love is getting dangerously close to encroaching on my copyrighted screenplay, Wandering Punctuation.
Are you judging based on which movie gets more comments or which comments get more thumbs up? I’M SO CONFUSED!

I really don’t think I can handle another disappointing alien movie. I vote Crazy, Stupid Love… it has a much higher RT rating. (Although in all honesty, I will probably just see Another Earth)
Is Jesse Eisenberg in either of these movies? Deciding factor.
Uhhhhh… I’m going to have to go with Sexy Daniel Craig on this one. As much as I like RyGos, Sexy Daniel Craig kind of always trumps him.

At least we know exactly what we’re going to get in both movies, thanks to those titles! My vote is for Crazy, Stupid Love, because at least that one leaves a LITTLE more to the imagination.
Based purely on my status as a Marissa Tomei fangirl, I’m voting for Crazy Stupid Love.
The only good romantic comedy ever made has already been made, and that movie is 10 Things I Hate About You. So.. Cowboys and Aliens wins.

Can’t a compromise be found in this intractable situation? Wouldn’t it make sense, since there are two writers on this blog for Gabe to see one movie and Kelly to see the other. That’s how Canadians did it in the mid 90′s when deciding to see between Mission Impossible and Twister.

Crazy, Stupid Love, please! Cowboys & Aliens looks a little heady for me.
I try not to see movies that have a good chance of making me cry in theaters(unless they have wizards), so Cowboys and Aliens. Also, Daniel Craig’s shoulders, which I suddenly can’t stop thinking about.
Cowboys and Aliens looks crazy and stupid, and I love that. Clear winner.
