The election is over, but late night local news people got a treat this weekend when a drunk driver slammed into a convenience store and was caught on tape by the security cameras. It was probably unnecessary for this to play in every local market in the country this weekend, but it probably still did. This version is the best, because it involves SUSPENSE:
There were no injuries and the driver later turned herself in. Nice to see viral video getting back to normal.

Every time someone started getting too close to the outer walls, my inner monologue started shouting “NOOOOOOOOOOOO!” even though I knew there were no injuries. Talk about suspense.
i loved how the clerk stood starting at the car for a second, then pulled up his pants, because he was ready for ACTION. i have a crush on that clerk now.
