  1. Yes, I am watching Wilfred, and yes, I am enjoying it.

  2. Wildred is AWESOME. I don’t understand the bad reviews. So hilarious.

  3. for some reason those wax figures never have the spray tan down right. you have failed us yet again, science.

  4. The only thing better than a celebrity standing with their wax figure is nothing!

That video of Ozzy Osborne hanging out at a wax museum and scaring people who think he’s fake tickled me much harder than I thought it would. Like, that’s the level of scares Ozzy is capable of these days. “I’ll sit really still, then people will think I’m fake. Then I’ll move slightly and bark at them or something. Mainly though, I get to sit down.”

  5. Wilfred is terrible. Godawful poop jokes and stoner comedy, and Elijah Wood overacting North-style.

    • Granted, this is just based off the first two episodes, which I had to force myself to sit through because FX has been such a reliable place for comedy I figured there’s gotta be a reason why they picked this show up.

  6. I am enjoying Wilfred, although I do find at least once an episode I am made to cringe by a vaguely racist remark. I think it’s weird that people think it’s ok to make fun of Asian people still.

    • There’s was a not so vague racist “joke” in both episodes that have aired so far (I think both were uttered by Elijah Wood’s annoying sister). Completely out of left field, completely unnecessary and completely loathsome.

As a “dog person”, I enjoyed the pilot which featured some pretty great dog behavior jokes (such as Wilfred turning in circles before sitting on the couch). I was disappointed that the second episode seemed to have dropped much of the dog stuff in favor of plot development. Let’s see how episode three turns out…
