  1. YES. YES. YES.

  2. You know how to cut to the core of me Dr. Birdie. You’re so wise. You’re like a miniature Buddha, covered with hair.

  3. Birdie should have a meteoric rise in popularity after a stellar Chicago broadcast news career and then after 25 years of hosting a talk show, have her own network.

  4. Take a walk, Birdie. (Into my HEART!)

  5. I love you, Dr. Birdie. You’re totally worth the exorbitant out of pocket expense that I have to pay since my crappy insurance doesn’t cover dog counselors.

  6. I am very really glad that this very real advice column by a very real dog is very real.

  7. List of good doctors:

    Dr. Birdie
    Dr. Katz
    Dr. Carter
    Dr. Mario

  8. I like how my mother, my midwife, and Birdie all give the same advice, take a walk.

  9. Lately, I’ve been really, really wanting a dog. This video did little to stop that.

    Also this was the best.

    • Are you able to get one? Because dogs are so great. I have been thinking about getting a second one and I browse dogs on petfinder for entirely too long and I want them all because they’re so cute and I just know they’re listening to Sarah McLauchlan and waiting for me to love them, oh no.

  10. Another proud graduate of the University of Phoenix’s doctorate program.

  11. SOOO GOOOD!!

  12. Dear Dr. Birdie,

I’m in love with another human’s dog who has her own advice column on this blog whose JPEGs I’m constantly downloading. What should I do?

  13. I was very glad to see this immediately after returning home from a walk.

  14. I was sort of worried that Birdie might not take this seriously–she’s young, she just got her degree, her tweets are lighthearted. But she really got to the heart of these issues. Joke’s on us.

  15. Fear of mange keeps me up at night. Can you help me, Doc?

  16. Dear Doc Bird:
Lately, I have taken some flack in this community for comments I made regarding a foreskin skin graft I received several years ago for my elbow; made possible by the generosity of 2 wonderful parents (and, I guess their son – but he’ll probably never know ;) – Unless I personally thank him someday which, as you can image, I have seriously considered). I then made a statement urging others to consider foreskin donation if they have their own children. Sadly, and not surprisingly, I was met with much of the stigma that my friends in the donation recipient community have experienced. I was called “gross” and my comments were downvoted – severely and savagely.
Dr. Bird – do you have any advice or thoughts to help with this continuing problem?

    Peace.

    - Tilla.

    • Turdnuts – I just saw I was supposed to send this to the email. If you get this ^^^ post and my email Dr. Bird, please don’t penislize me. I just wanted to make sure you got this.

      Peace.

      - Tilla.

  17. I love Birdie!

  18. Yay, Birdie!! What good advice, Birdie! You’re a good girl.
Yay, Vince Guaraldi Peanuts music! You’re a good man, Gabe.
