It looks like everyone’s favorite Gossip Girl (after Chuck) is going to be playing everyone’s favorite tragic handsome musician (after Kurt Cobain). Penn Badgley beat out Robert Pattinson and James Franco for the role and I think he will be better than they would’ve been. I’m excited for this actually. :-/

More like “Live at the Whin-e”
I saw Penn Badgley at a play about two weeks ago. What kind of ground my gears was Penn wore a baseball cap the whole time and kept hunched low. I guess he was concerned that the people at the play were big John Tucker Must Die fans (myself excluded), but c’mon, Humphrey, you can clean it up a little bit more. Do you guys remember when going to the theater used to MEAN something?!
I’m 22, so… no.
I’m upvoting you solely for using the phrase “ground my gears”

It’s my homepage.
Well duh. Musical talent runs in the Humphrey family.
I know, his dad is going to be so proud.
He’s going to make him tons and tons of waffles because he’s so proud!
That’s right, Stereogum, we know who Jeff Buckley is.
Did James Franco need another job really?
I was more excited when I read this quickly and thought that Penn Jillette was going to be playing William F. Buckley.
Teller as Noam Chomsky? #hollywoodpostitnote
Definitely better than Pattinson, but ugh.
God damn it, if this had been ten years ago, Guy Pearce would have been all over this. And I would have been all over him.
I followed the link and had all the cones in my retinas blown out by the color pink.
Was Adam Brody unavailable?
