We don’t usually link to on-line flash games because there are so many reasons how many do you want? But this one in which you are deceased author George Plimpton engaging in a bit of falconry is pretty important.

Can I give you one major reason you SHOULD link to online flash games? Because if you had never linked to Dress Up Morgan Freeman back in 2009, Facetaco would have never found Videogum. So there you go.
How are you so good at being the first commenter. You should change your name to firsttaco.
I thought about it, but that looks too similar to fisttaco, which could be construed as sexual harassment.
Obviously, OBVIOUSLY, every single one of us has some cosmic connection between Videogum and Dress-Up Morgan Freeman, because how can you avoid such an obvious connection?
I am not ashamed to admit that I was ego-surfing:

See that handome devil in the top left corner of the review? Pre-fatherood Facetaco used to write game reviews. I also inadvertantly inspired the game, which is why I got dibs on the review, and I enjoyed seeing the internet’s befuddlement at the existence of such a thing.
It’s cool that I totally knew who George Plimpton was and definitely DID NOT need to look him up on Wikipedia just now.
It would be pretty rad for other people, not me, if you would just give a synopsis of who he is. But not for me, can I just reiterate that? I mean for other people who aren’t “in the Plimpton know,” which is definitely a phrase we use.
I’ll tell you who he is in a second, but first, this urgent appeal from Jimmy Wales.
He seemed patrician but his side of the family was referred to as “The Shovel Plimptons”!
He loved fireworks!
He founded/ran The Paris Review!
He’s one of the main old white guys in “When We Were Kings”!
He had a lot of affairs!
He had famous friends!
He did the kind of journalism where you immerse yourself, leading to books about fighting with Archie Moore!
He couldn’t say no to people asking him to be in commercials!
Here is a song about him by Jonathan Coulton!: http://www.jonathancoulton.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/A-Talk-with-George.mp3
That was a link to a demo, so don’t click on it!

We could start by all remembering together his amazing non-fiction novel Paper Lion about the time he convince the Detroit Lions to allow him to pretend to be the third string quarterback on their professional football team. We could then laugh about his guest spot on the Simpsons, referenced by our friend Frank Lloyd Wrong below. Personally, I’d like to laugh about his weird appearance in the amazing documentary “When We Were Kings” about epic the Ali-Foreman fight. I mean, thats just me.
He was the host of Mouseterpiece Theater!
George Plimpton equals Jon Hodgman minus Donald Barthelme
(?)
This link would have been better if it came with a free hotplate.
I don’t know whether the weather will improve.
Next up: Tony Kornheiser Makes a Snowman.
This is the second most elegant videogame, right after High Tea with the Queen. Speaking of which, just unlocked the secret “sugar cube” level. #brag
Awww…in my head I was picturing a BILL PLYMPTON game.

Can somebody make one of those please?
FLW assist!
Thank You! I had a picture there for a minute but it disappeared for some reason.
It’s back? also have you seen “I Married a Strange Person”? Watch it if you like things that are booooooonnnnnnnnnnkerrrrrrrrrrrrs
Has anybody played the Great Gatsby videogame?
I sent some friends out in a yellow Rolls to pick it up for me, but they haven’t come back yet.
I can’t believe dicaprio and mulligan are appearing in that movie.I thought they wuz proper actors and now they are doing video game adaptations?
I prefer Falcon Heene’s Video Blimptonry.
I was just listening to the Judge John Hodgman podcast on Tuesday where Hodgman claims this is the only videogame he ever plays.
Technically, Plimpton is your coach. You are engaging in the falconry. You only play *as* Plimpton in the power-up levels.
This is more a Sim than a game because this is exactly what falconry is like. I know because I do bunches of falconry.
