Haha. This looks good enough. Alexander Payne is a good director, and George Clooney is fucking GEORGE CLOONEY. I’m sure it’s a well-written, thoughtful drama with a bit of a comedic edge to it about the difficult and unexpected curve-balls that life can throw at you in the stadium of…life (very good sports metaphor, very cool). But man oh man, even if this is the Greatest Movie of Our Times, I’m not sure that I have ever seen a more perfect graphic encapsulation of “Being White Is Hard” than a man flopping impotently down the street in a pair of boat shoes after having just learned that his wife cheated on him.
