Alec Baldwin has signed on to co-host TCM’s The Essentials, beginning in March. He and Robert Osborne will showcase the movies they consider to be essential viewing for movie lovers. Like, say, the underrated classic with which one of us is obsessed, The Edge? One of us hopes so. (Via Variety.)

    I am biased about this and any other film I saw at the dollar theater in the 90’s. I always felt I got at least an entire dollar’s worth of entertainment.

    Oh yeah and Elle Macpherson needs to make more movies not.

    i fucking love ‘the edge.’
    i bought it on dvd.
    LOVE it.
    that’s my favorite alec baldwin – post-super hot, pre-soft and funny and kinda old – the perfect mixture of hotness slipping into disrepair.

    I’ve gotten $3 of dollar entertainment out of this movie, because i saw it thrice. Please, please, please write about it!
