For some reason, I have the idiot thought that they only start making new movies after the Oscars. So when I saw Michelle Williams, I was like, “That was fast!”
Yay Kelly Reichardt! Took a few classes with her when I was at Bard, and she is just a really fascinating, genuine, and unpretentious person to talk to and learn from. I really enjoyed both Old Joy and Wendy and Lucy, and I REALLY am looking forward to this.
After watching Death Sentence, a terrible movie starring Kevin Bacon as a father in search of vigilante justice directed by Saw's James Wan, Gabe embarked on The Hunt For The Worst Movie of All Time. This is his sad journey.
Michelle WIlliams, get out of my dreams and into my covered wagon!

And then I jumped off a building.
spoiler alert, they all die of dysentery
Ah, crap. I didn’t see your comment Ian.
“Ah crap” seems a little insensitive [or perfect] as an exclamatory response here…
Yeesh, everyone seems so depressed in this movie. Probably because they killed a buffalo but could only carry 200lbs back to the wagon. What a waste!
The worst part is when both Oxen, poopface and booger, died of dysentery.
Being White Is Hard: 1845 edition?
When Being White Was Hard
Acclaim quotes from Slant Magazine and The Village Voice. This has got to be better than True Grit.
I watched this while drinking a 20 oz bottle of Aquafina. I I couldn’t even finish it, it was so huge! So I just dumped the rest down the sink.
Not to be confused with Zeke’s Cutoffs.
This looks so good! Also, I love Michelle Williams. I want to cut off my long black hair and do this:

Gabe, does this look better than True Grit?
The Donner Party: The Movie. Now with more fingers and toes!
Old Joy is the best. This looks great — really looking forward to pretending to enjoy viewing something at the Film Forum. Hurry up, April 8th!
Also, good poster:

I thought it could have used more lingering shots of people quietly camping…
They should have known something was wrong with Meek when every time they asked him if he knew where he was going, he would respond with “Winning!”
You don’t pick a fight with a frontier warlock.

what what Bard alums!
Your face is “aesthetically provocative”.
I have not seen True Grit yet, but this shit does look hot.
“This is a real movie-movie” –review somewhere in that preview…
This is as opposed to statutory movies?
Woah! The premise is pretty amazing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meek_Cutoff
Can’t wait to see this.
“Meek’s Cutoff is a real movie-movie with, like, performances and dramatic stakes and stuff, not like Wendy & Lucy, you guys.”
Oh hai! Who be you? (since there’s a more than likely chance I’ve heard of you if you graduated within the past 3 or so years because lolBard)
Wow, that was definitely supposed to be a response to natures candy.
I’ll see myself out…
i saw this at a festival and wrote a review of it! it IS better than true grit!!
