Oh yeah, also lots of new movie trailers last night: Super 8. Captain America. Cowboys and Aliens. Transformers 3. So there you go.

  1. Alright. There was a Chevy/Transformers ad late in the night that irked me. Some guy fake hits Bumblebee, so Bumblebee’s natural reaction was to pick the dude up and fling his across the parking lot into another building. Now, can we talk about how “one of the good guys” just straight up killed someone, in no small or non-gruesome way, for little more than a slap on the hand? I’m scared to both see and not see Transformers 3.

    • On the other hand, that lack of respect for life just increases the chance that Shia The Beef will die at some point, so bonus points for that.

    • Awww, bless that little noble-savage-stereotype!

    • I’m probably going to go see this because my mom loves Optimus Prime. I thought the first one was okay and second one was blah. I just want to see dumb robot fights that take place outside the boxing ring.

  2. You forgot Rango. Come on, now.

  3. Captain America had a cool suit. I like the colors!

  4. I liked the special Superbowl commercial for The Kings Speech, where Colin Firth tackled Geoffrey Rush and screamed ” Y-y-y-our in m-m-m-m-m-m-my h-h-house!”

  5. No love for “5Fast5Furious”?

  6. Super 8 “can’t lose”, amirite you guys?

  7. I’m still waiting, Hollywood…

  8. Re: Trailers for upcoming movies of 2011

I would like to say that I am so psyched for the summer movies of 2012. The Avengers is the only reason I plan to see Captain America and Thor, cause, JOSS WHEDON, amirite?!

  9. i still think chris evans is a bad choice for captain america. especially since he already got the chance to be the human torch and blew it. captain america is supposed to be a statuesque picture of righteous good, not a smirking, buck-toothed jerkoff.

  10. Somebody should tell the movie companies that geeks don’t watch football. By that I mean there are a lot of geek movies coming out. A lot. For geeks.
