After the success of The Office, these things could go either way, but it seems a little late to be making an American version of Ab Fab, especially since they’ve tried it before (though without Jennifer Saunders), and as hard as it is to accept, the original has been so over-imitated already that it’s lost most of its shock value. These things happen.
