WE ARE GOING TO NEED A BIGGER YES, PLEASE! Um, this looks great? I had never realized that I wanted a movie that was a combination of The Professional and Little House on the Prairie until just now, but it turns out I want that SUPER MUCH. I’m pretty sure the ending of the movie Can’t Hardly Wait is Ethan Embry yelling down to Jennifer Love Hewitt that he loves this trailer. Did you know that in France they changed the name of Can’t Hardly Wait to Big Party, but still in English, which is weird, like why do they need a different title but still in English? Haha. HAPPY HOLIDAYS I MIGHT BE DRUNK ALREADY. (I’m not. But I might be. But I’m not. But you don’t tell me what to do. LET’S GO LIVE IN THE WOODS AND KILL.)

  1. This looks Kick-Ass.

  2. To be fair Gabe, it was a rather large party.

  3. Considering the first Bing result, I can’t wait until parents mistakenly bring their children to this movie.

    • FMC stands for Fight Murder Chill.
      Always Be Fightmurdering.

    • It’s almost guaranteed that there will be some scarred and confused Miley fans. It’ll be like my fifth birthday, when we went to Godfather’s Pizza and my friend Sam put on Steppenwolf thinking he’d be getting the hit song from Aladdin. It’s a Whole New World, indeed.

  4. Gabe, you have been mentioning Can’t Hardly Wait alot lately. Is it your favorite movie? (Because it is totes my favorite movie!)

  5. When that woman hugged Hanna, I knew it was a bad idea. I screamed:

    BITCH, YOU ABOUT TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. In Italy, Kung Fu Hustle was called Kung Fusion, and Unleashed was called Danny The Dog. Basically, if you’re ever on Jeopardy and the category is “Italian translations of titles of movies starring Asian men,” you’ll have me to thank.

  7. I’ve never seen the movie “Can’t Hardly Wait” because it shares a name with my favorite Replacements song. Maybe I could see “Big Party.”

  8. Well I’ve never known Woody Allen to do prequels but this looks interesting at least.

  9. That’s the girl from Lovely Bones. I had to look it up but I knew I recognized her.

    • She’s that Salmon girl right? ugh, creeped myself out. rad

    • People say I look like her. And I am not 13. WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?

    • She was also in “Atonement” I believe. She is very talented. I didn’t really like that movie (or book) but I thought she was very good.

      • Dammit Mans

      • She was in Atonement.

      • Why didn’t you like the book? Thanks, I’ll take my answer off line.

      • Also, the director is the same
        “RRRRR5]\gtttt
(my cat just walked across my keyboard)

I WAS SAYING — the director is Joe Wright who also directed Atonement and Pride & Prejudice. I really like his aesthetic.

Mans, why didn’t you like Atonement?76uu7777778 (cat again, UGH)

        • To Patrick and Cake or Death: I liked the first third of the novel quite a lot. I did not like the “resolution” of the story. No Spoilers, but it didn’t work for me.

        • I dig Joe Wright’s movies as well–although I’ve only seen P&P and Atonement. I got so excited for Atonement because of Keira & Joe working together again, and it was just way different than P&P. Obviously. I read the book after I saw the movie, but I’m actually glad I did it that way.

          • The Dunkirk scene in Atonement… just kill me now. So beautiful. Also, the soundtrack to both movies are some of my staples.

            NERD ALERT!!!

          • I really liked “Pride and Prejudice.” “Atonement” was very well made and really lovely, true. My beef is just with the source material. I found the first section so intriguing that I couldn’t help but be let down by the rest of the story, especially the way it ended up resolving. I get the idea, but I was not moved by it, nor was I that intellectually stimulated by it. But the first part is sort of so good that I think anything else would be a let down. I really love the way that the main story plays out off stage. You get the feeling that there is more going on than you can understand, which is a good reflection of childhood. There just wasn’t anything that the rest of the book or movie could have done to make up for that.

He also directed “The Soloist” which I didn’t see because it looked terrible. But “The Fighter” also looks terrible to me for the same reasons, so maybe I am wrong, because everyone says it is very good.

            What do I know? [Nothing]

    • She was also in Atonement, directed by Joe Wright- who directed this. He also directed Pride & Prejudice & the guy who played Mr. Collins is the blonde guy in this. (I love figuring out those connections #MovieNerd)

  10. I would have assumed a girl named Hanna Bana would be more jolly.

  11. Yep. I am going to see the hell out of this movie. I am not even sure how to see the hell out of a movie, but I’m doing it, dig!

    • “From what I’d read, I expected there to be a little more the hell in this movie.” – everyone after lilbobbytables sees this movie

  12. Creepiest thing in this trailer? Her eyebrows!

    Anyone else?

  13. I love how Yahoo puts a commercial after the trailer.

“I just watched what I was hoping to see when I clicked play but oh what is this? A commercial you say? Why yes I would like to stick around for the advertisement please.” -You

  14. Kids be murdering a ton these days.
Teens never murder me. They just call me faggot and do the Frankenstein walk when they see me. I’m lucky.

  15. I liked the part where she killed people.

  16. Also, I feel like the movie will start like The Village’s big reveal (oh, they’re in modern times!) and then go seriously Munich-Bourne on our asses.

  17. Also Also (???) I feel like this post was authored by a can of FourLoko.

  18. In France, the Step Up series is called Sexy Dance. True story.

Also this film does indeed look very good.

  19. Well, Angelina Jolie just got served Saoirse Ronan.

  20. This movie lacks a good amount of Agent Stansfield…

  21. that part at the end where the guy’s all like RUN LITTLE PIGGY reminds me of when i was in high school drinking in the woods and the cops came and i ran away and afterward my friends told me the lady cop said “RUN LADIES. RUN LIKE THE WIND!”

  22. And sometimes when we fail
    The embarrassment’s too much
And I have to close my window and hide
I wanna LOL til I die
Til the monsters break down and cry
I wanna LOL till the fear in me subsides

  23. Ethan Embry! I had completely forgotten he existed. I think my sister wanted to marry him back in the 90s.
